Christopher Nicholas joined York Capital this month as a managing director overseeing investor relations for North America. Nicholas most recently served in a similar role in the New York office of London-based Arrowgrass Capital, which unwound late last year amid poor performance and investor redemptions. Before joining Arrowgrass in 2009, Nicholas spent time at Deutsche Bank and IBM. York has $18.5 billion under management. The New York manager’s flagship multi-strategy fund gained 12.4% in 2019.
